Managing Organization Quality-Oriented Human Resources Management

Question: Discuss about theManaging Organizationfor Quality-Oriented Human Resources Management. Answer: Introduction Doing a job after graduation is a prestigious thing for everybody. After turning 18 and getting graduation completed I also thought of doing a job. Though I was too young to enter the workforce but then I am adult enough to undertake such pressures in my life. According to me, I am feasible enough to get accustomed to the new adult world where everything is very hard and not at all cosy. Apart from all these conditions I feel I am adult enough to earn and make my own dignity. At the beginning, though things were a lot overwhelming but then now when I have already passed 3 months of work experience I can find myself in a far better confident ground. Yes, I am much more confident now from before. This is very obvious that time and experience make people more confident in their field (Simon et al., 2006). I am working in a retail store. My manager is Kate who uses many competencies which are associated with the Rational Goal Model. I really admire him very much. The main thing of the Rational Goal Model is productivity and profitability. So, according to this goal a manager has to manage both the store and its employees. He has to make sure that all the methods applied are productive and profitable to the store (Quinn et al., 2014). He has all the qualities of a skilled manager which are like communicating and developing a vision and setting objectives and goals for the sales in the store. But the best thing that I admire the most in him is his motivating nature. He maintains a positive environment in the store. He makes sure that the targets are fulfilled but at the same time he also makes sure that the employees are well behaved and well satisfied with their work. He never discourages the employees in their weak performances. Yes, being a manager he obviously scolds us but then after scolding also he makes sure he ends the conversation with a positive note like it is OK, never mind, better luck next time and many others (Bowen and Lawler, 1992). In every business productivity is the main goal. Similarly here also according to the goal we are referring to productivity is the most important thing. Yes, it is really true that the main work of the manager is to maintain the better productivity of the store which Kate does very properly. Kate is always into new ideas for the prosperity of the store. Every day he comes up with new plans for better sales and offers for the customers. This proves that he also has the quality of setting goals and objectives (The University of Western Australia, 2015). Every day there are new offers for the customers in the store. Keeping in mind the pressure on the employees and the sale rates he provides prizes or gifts for employees who perform well in a day or weekly or yearly. He makes work in the store real enjoyable. After working for 3 months I am really proud of myself that I had joined this firm as my first job place. He made my three months a worth remembering experience. He made sure that the newcomers do not get bored or scared in the store. Having a manager like in my first is more than just a pleasure. He gives us chances if we are wrong. He explains us the mistakes and helps us solve the problems. If sometimes we get stuck while managing any work, he never discourages. He says, Never mind, what has happened has already happened, do not worry, and do not repeat the mistake. He always spreads positivity with his speech (Quinn et al., 2014). Conclusion So according to the reflective essay written above we can say that managers are important for any administration, but then the happiness of the employees also was of great concern for him. He made us understand that we should never lag behind regarding improvements in us. Every mistake we do will take us one step forward to the path which will lead to the better productivity of the company. This is very obvious that the main duty of the manager is to keep the store updated going in every circumstance. With all these responsibilities in the head, the managers still express positive and encouraging environment. This also gives happiness to the employee and provides them with a friendly and approachable environment for the employees. References Bowen, D. and Lawler, E. (1992).
